I hope I was not the only one to see cash money sitting on the side of North 
Roxboro Road today.  I saw hundred of dollars waiting to be collected and 
given to our public schools.  Fines from illegally posted signs go into this 
"kitty".

560-4137, ext. 215   This number will put you through to Grace Smith.  She 
is the supervisor of our county's seven-person zoning enforcement team.  She 
will assign the report to the team member who works the area where the 
violation is occurring.  As I recall, the fine is $200 per day per sign.

Many businesses post signs illegally on Friday evening and pull them up on 
Sunday evening, thereby avoiding zoning enforcement.  Remember, a picture is 
worth a thousand words.  The on-line report allows you to up-load a digital 
photo.
