INC NEWS - how would the proposed street vending ...

resolution (if it made it to being an ordinance)effect street festivals
such as Taste of Durham or Centerfest where you have everyone in the
street vending? Or as far as that goes, those kids who push around the ice
cream carts every year during the summer? Would the musicians who stand
along the sides of city streets and play music for tips be effected? How
about the sale of food in restaurants where seating is available on the
sidewalks outside?

We've heard about the newspaper vendors and the panhandlers, but what
about these other folks? Are there others I forgot?
