Hello Durham community members,

The Fourth Annual MOMart sale is just around the corner!  This year it's
at Broad St. Cafe and it's a great place to get a Mother's Day gift,
pick up a colorful container garden, or find your next great piece of 
art from the amazing range of art and crafts created by Durhamites and 
other local artists.

Friday, May 5 from 7-10 pm
Preview party:  Food and desserts catered by Mad Hatter's Café and Bake
Shop, wine/beer, $15 at the door; meet the artists and get first dibs on 
art and plants.

Saturday, May 6, 9:00-4:00.
All day sale.

The show features art and crafts from 91 local and regional artists as 
well as plants, hanging baskets, and garden art. This year's show 
benefits Threshold, a Durham County organization dedicated to helping 
adults with severe mental illness (www.thresholdclubhouse.org).

The Broad St. Café is located at 1116 Broad St., Durham. Kids are 
welcome (on Friday kids under 5 get in free; kids 5-12 get in for $5). 
To keep them safe from any art mishaps, there is a play space set up at 
the cafe where they can have fun, and there is kid-friendly art.
