INC NEWS - Solid Waste Budget Status

Hello INC Members:

 

The Department of Solid Waste Management is currently in the process of
summarizing the City Council budget recommendations related to the
Department and will be forwarding a list of current recommendations
shortly.  Currently, the Yard Waste and Bulky Item Comprehensive Program
is not being recommended for funding.  City Council is recommending
funding of a Solid Waste Code Enforcement Officer beginning in the
second quarter.

 

City Council is scheduled to vote on Monday, June 19th to adopt the FY
2006/07 budget.  Please note there is still some movement of items
within the City's budget until adoption of a balanced budget.
