 Time is running out for your neighborhood to  nominate your 2006 Hero!
You can nominate as an individual, or as a neighborhood  association. But get 
your nomination in soon!

Here's more  information:

Do you have a neighborhood hero? Someone who picks up litter, or  adopts 
stray animals or fights crime, but isn't paid for their effort. Just tell  us how 
your hero makes your neighborhood a better place to live. 
 
Each fall, the Durham Inter-Neighborhood Council's Honor Your  Neighborhood 
Hero Awards is designed to recognize unsung heroes like  yours.
 
 Nominations must be received by August 10,  2006
 
 The Inter-Neighborhood Council is Durham's coalition of  Neighborhood & 
Homeowners Associations. We meet monthly at 7pm, the fourth  Tues of each month, 
in the Herald Sun Building, 2828 Pickett Road. The  public is invited to 
participate and help work out community issues.  Celebrating 21 years of service to 
Durham neighborhoods!
 
 
In 250 words or less, tell us why your hero should be recognized at  the 
fabulous Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club this fall. Then join us at  Durham's 
event of the year, no speeches required. 
 
Simply supply your name, and contact information, and 250  words about your 
hero.
