Individual and series performance tickets ( the latter for a discount) are
now on sale for performances at the Carolina Theatre in downtown Durham,
Duke, Carolina, NCSU and Playmakers Theater. (Below are the series in
Durham.) The Carolina Theatre and Duke University use volunteers to seat
people and in exchange they get to see the show for free. (Volunteers must
sign up well in advance and be committed to show up.) Please tell me about
other series and share this information. Thanks.

The Chorale Presbyterienne du Congo is a group of 6
men and 6 women who came together on May 5, 2006 for
the first time. They are all leaders in different
Presbyterian churches in the Democratic Republic of
Congo.

The Democratic Republic of Congo Choir Tour will
celebrate and share the musical gifts and cultures of
the Congolese people. The U.S. visit will provide a
means to inspire a more hopeful view of this large
nation of Central Africa, while encouraging
participation and aid, nurturing self-sufficiency, and
promoting health, education and well-being in the
Congo. The tour will raise public appreciation for the
challenges facing communities in DR Congo and their
dreams for a better life for their diverse people.
