Please support " FAIR Elections" by marking YES on the $3 check-off box on
the N.C. income-tax return for the North Carolina PUBLIC CAMPAIGN FUND.

The fund has already reduced the influence of big- moneyed special- interest
groups in North Carolina's judicial elections.   If your  tax preparer fails
to ask if you want to support the NC Public Campaign fund, remind them of
their duty to ask and of your desire to support the fund by answering "YES"
to the $3 NC PUBLIC CAMPAIGN FUND question.
 
REMEMBER, saying "YES" does not increase your tax burden or decrease your
refund.    

In 2006, 8 out of 12 candidates opted in to this model program, which also
prints and distributes Judicial Voter Guides. 5 out of the 6 eventual
winners in the races for the NC Supreme Court and the NC Court of Appeals
