It purpose is to promote, maintain and enhance the quality, stability and vitality of neighborhoods in Durham. INC provide service to neighborhoods by collecting and disseminating information to stimulate awareness and interest in issues affecting Durham neighborhoods.
Per INC's By_Laws, all INC business is handled at meetings of its delegates.
Article III: Governance
Section 1: The Inter Neighborhood Council shall be governed by a council of delegates as provided in this article. Unless otherwise provided, all business shall be conducted by a simple majority of delegates assembled at any meeting, with each neighborhood having one vote.
It is the opinion of the President, no changes to the web master or listserv administrator will take place until ordered by the INC delegation at a delegates meeting.
