Now, the Triangle gets a rare chance to experience the inspiration and
eternal optimism expressed in artwork by Nobel Peace Prize winner and former
South African President, Nelson Mandela.  The exhibit, ³Spirit of Freedom:
Drawings and Narratives by Nelson Mandela,² illustrates Mandela's
imprisonment on Robben Island off Cape Town , South Africa , from 1964 until
1982.

(new) Fun, hands-on environmental programs in our backyard parks. From
amphibians to canoeing we will explore the natural world around us. We'll
also offer a monthly night hike, giving participants an opportunity to
experience the fascinating world of nature at night. These programs are open
to the general public, all ages, and are free.  Pre-registration is required
only for the nighthikes, paddle programs, and day trips. For more
