One Block Will Be Closed to Traffic Until August 31st

Durham, N.C. – Contractors working for the City of Durham’s Department of
Water Management have begun a sewer repair project that will require
closing one block of West Chapel Hill Street between the intersections
of Kent and Brewster Streets.  Work is expected to be completed by August
31, 2007.

Traffic should watch for detour signs posted along the route. This
project replaces a deteriorated sewer line that serves homes along this
street.
