Closure in Effect from August 23 - 24

Durham, N.C. – The City of Durham’s Department of Public Works will be
closing a portion of South Alston Avenue to all vehicle traffic beginning
at 7 a.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2007 until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 24,
2007. 

No thru traffic will be allowed during this time frame.  Local traffic
will be detoured from the intersection of South Alston Avenue at N.C. Hwy.
55 to Nixon Street.  For access to Capps Street, traffic will be detoured
to Riddle Road north onto Crowell Street and then over to Baltic Street
which leads back to Capps Street.
