Please be advised of the upcoming proposed changes to the text of the
Durham Unified Development Ordinance (UDO):

Text Change TC06-08 proposes new standards for a Neighborhood Protection
Overlay for Tuscaloosa-Lakewood. This proposed ordinance revision would
establish supplementary standards in the Unified Development Ordinance
designed to protect the distinctive aspects of development in
Tuscaloosa-Lakewood.

The Planning Commission public hearing is tentatively scheduled for
February 12, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City
Hall Plaza.  Please contact the Planning Department for confirmation of
the hearing dates.  The proposed revisions, once finalized, may be viewed
at the web site listed above.

Unified Development Ordinance:  Sec. 12.4.5A, Sidewalks [in Sec. 12.4,
Pedestrian and Bicycle Mobility/Sec. 12.4.5, Dimensions and Locations].

The Planning Commission public hearing is tentatively scheduled for
February 12, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City
Hall Plaza.  Please contact the Planning Department for confirmation of
the hearing dates.  The proposed revisions, once finalized, may be viewed
