Durham Athletic Park Pictures

 

To renovate the historic Durham Athletic Park, we need your help NOW!

To ensure the upcoming renovation of the Durham Athletic Park (DAP)
properly reflects its history, the City of Durham is searching for all
types of historic photos from the early days in the 1930s to the later
years of the 1990s.  Black-and-white or color, send whatever you have!
We need pictures by February 28, 2008 to be considered for project
needs!

We are especially interested in photos depicting interior shots of the
grandstand, clubhouses, locker rooms, entry plaza, offices, broadcasting
booth and concession areas.

Submitting your photos is easy!

U.S. Mail:  DAP Photos c/o Beth Emerson, 
General Services Department,           
101 City Hall Plaza, Durham, NC 27701 -or- 
E-mail:  DAPphotos at durhamnc.gov

Please submit the date the photos were taken, if at all possible, along
with your complete contact information (name, mailing address and phone
number) so your   photos will be returned by May 15.
