West Point Hike: Monday, March 31 (Max 10)

Take the day to explore the backwoods of West Point. We will use old
road beds, animal trails, and our own adventurous spirit to find unique
natural and historic features in the park.

Lake Michie Canoe Trip: Tuesday, April 1 (Max 6)

Come join us on this fun day canoeing and hiking at the Lake Michie
Recreation Area. We will canoe to where the river enters the lake and
then hike along the river. Enjoy this mountain-like part of Durham
County.

Flat River Canoe Trip: Wednesday, April 2 (Max 6)

Join the paddle exploration of one of the more beautiful rivers in the
piedmont. Not only is the river a great place to explore, but it is a
great place to see wildlife. The Flat River is truly a gem and is a
must see in Durham County.

White Pines Natural Area: Thursday, April 3 (Max 10)

Explore the Eastern most stand of White Pine Trees in NC. This also
happens to be at the confluence of the Deep and Rocky Rivers. We will
hike in the rolling hills down to the Rocky River, where we will explore
among the rocks and bluffs. Along the way we will learn about the White
Pine trees and look for forest animals including deer and salamanders.

Carolina Beach State Park: Friday, April 4 (Max 10)

Join us on a fun trip to explore and learn about the coastal
environment. From carnivorous plants to alligators, we will be looking
for all sorts of plants and animals that are unique to that area. Of
course we will make a stop at the beach!
