Take Action! 
Tell the General Assembly the time to address the drought and water policy in our state is now.
The 2007 drought - the worst in state history - illuminated the inadequacies of North Carolina's&nbsp;water policy. We need better water conservation, water system efficiency, and drought response policies. 
This bill, H2499/S1879 will:
- Require&nbsp;withdrawal registration for large users 
 - Make&nbsp;"minimum conservation measures" mandatory in extreme drought
 - Ensure conservation is rewarded through tiered-pricing; you&nbsp;conserve, you pay less.
Please write your legislators in the General Assembly and urge them to support this legislation before concluding the short session.
