INC NEWS - Last Chance to Vote until November

I've been talking to my neighbors about the run-off election next Tuesday and found very few people aware of it.  Apparently, the blue and white signs all around town are not catching people's attention. 

And a lot of people were confused about who could vote.  The basic facts:

* Election is Tuesday June 24, 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM
* It is a run-off -- races in which no-one got 40% of the vote so the top 2 are getting another chance
* For school board, anyone registered in Durham County can (SHOULD) vote

Why to vote:
* It costs the county about the same whether 3 people or 3000 show up -- drive down the cost / voter
* Sitting there for 13 hours for 40 voters is real discouraging for the election workers so they will be VERY happy to see you
* Having an election and having no-one come is just embarrassing
* There won't be any lines -- a peaceful chance to practice for November (-:
