Hi Everyone,
 
I am hoping that most of you are planning to attend the public hearing on August 25th at 7:00. I want to stress again how important this hearing is and the huge impact the outcome will have on the lives of thousands of dogs in our community.  
 
Whether you are attending the hearing or not, please take a few minutes and send an email to the County Commissioners.  I recently found out they are being inundated with emails from pro-chainers, the majority of which do not live in Durham County.  They need to hear from people who care about and respect dogs and that live in their jurisdiction.  If you have a personal story please share it, if there a certain aspect of chaining that bothers you the most (unwanted litters, open to attacks from people and other dogs, increased aggression, neglect, embedded collars, etc.) please express it, or just simply let them know the the majority of our community expects better and our dogs deserve better.
