Durham Hosts Landlord Training Workshop November 13

Event Tailored to Help Landlords Effectively Manage Properties and Halt
Illegal Activity; 

Deadline to Register is October 31

 

What:              Landlord Training Workshop

 

Who:               City of Durham Departments of Neighborhood
Improvement Services, Human Relations, Police, Community Development,
Solid Waste, and City/County Planning.  Other sponsors include The
Durham Center, Durham Housing Authority, Legal Aid North Carolina, and
the Neighborhood Pride Alliance

 

When:             Thursday, November 13, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

                        Durham, N.C. 27705

 

Fast Facts

*         The Landlord Training Workshop is specifically designed to
assist landlords, property managers, resident managers, and any others
who are actively involved in managing rental housing.

 

*         The workshop will demonstrate effective property management
practices to significantly contribute to safe and decent housing as well
as provide successful techniques on how to halt illegal activity on
rental properties.

 

*         Seating is limited, so interested participants are asked to
register by Friday, October 31, 2008.  The cost to attend this one-day
workshop is $25 per person.
