Fast Facts

* Due to the current financial climate and the inability for
many small businesses to access lending, the City of Durham's Small
Business Advisory Committee is hosting a panel discussion with an array
of financial institutions to discuss the availability of funding sources
in today's economy, new criteria for acquiring funding, and how to
qualify.

* In addition to the panel discussion, small business agencies
will be on hand to assist attendees with positioning themselves to meet
new funding criteria implemented by many of the financial lending
institutions.

* All small business owners, potential entrepreneurs, and the
media are encouraged to attend this free event.

* For additional information about this event, contact Grace
Dzidzienyo, neighborhood commercial development coordinator with the
City's OEWD, at (919) 560-4965 or via e-mail at
grace.dzidzienyo at durhamnc.gov.
