[Durham INC] TLC "Home Made Simple" TV Show

As part of the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Durham Film Office has been contacted by Discovery Studios for assistance with location sites for an upcoming production.
"Home Made Simple"

They will be shooting "Home Made Simple" in the NC Triangle area and are searching for deserving families that need help with home projects.  The show, in its 6th season, incorporates a chef, carpenter and designer who come into the home to find simple solutions to everyday problems.  The show is based on the award winning website www.homemadesimple.com<http://www.homemadesimple.com> with over 12 million subscribers. You must be between the ages of 25-40 and live/own a single family home- no apartments or condos.

Include the following with the submission:
1. Tell your story- why are you and your family deserving of help from Home Made Simple?
2. Describe your projects in the home you need help with
3. Include photos of the projects and problem areas in the home
4. Include an exterior photo of the home
5. Include a family photo of whomever lives in the house.
6. Send us your phone number so we can talk

As a reminder, they are not a makeover show.  They don't do any heavy construction, electric, plumbing or additions.  It's mainly smaller projects involving a designer, carpenter and chef.
