[Durham INC] DWQ approved private Jordan Lake Survey!!!???

The DWQ approved the private survey of Jordan Lake today. Prompt Citizen action is required if we have any chance of righting this wrong.

See link below for more info. I'd like to know DWQ's rationale for accepting the inadequate data of this survey, resulting in less protection for Jordan Lake from development runoff, while they (DWQ) are pushing the Jordan Lake Rules. How can they can have it both ways? How can we let them?

There's still time to make a difference. Please write the CC, BOCC, and DWQ and ask them to reconsider the actions to date regarding this survey and this development (Neal Hunter's 751 Assemblage).

I'm travelling and email is difficult for me (using the cell phone is very painful). So I hope that you will forward this information on to the PA and every Durham listserv you can think of!
