Drugs Uncovered: What parents need to  know   
The program Drugs Uncovered: What parents need to  know is coming to our 
eventl!!  The Poe Center for Health Education and Durham Together for Resilient 
Youth (TRY) are challenging you, to see if  you can identify any of the 70 
references to drugs and alcohol hidden in a life  like teenager’s bedroom that will 
be at Durham Take a Stand! The room is part of  the Poe Center’s interactive 
program, Drugs Uncovered: What parents need to know!.  Drugs Uncovered will 
fill you in on  current drug trends, teen culture and signs of substance use and 
abuse and much  more. It will also give you the tools you need to effectively 
talk with your  teens about drugs and alcohol. Join us at Eastway Elementary 
School from 2 PM to  4 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2009.  This program is FREE 
for parents and  other adults, but you must register because space is limited
