prefers to remain anonymous) has offered to match donations made this week for
the Jordan Lake Survey Fund up to $1000.00.

you care about the water quality of Jordan Lake
and New Hope Creek, if you care about the
integrity of our democratic process and feel we must caution against conflicts of interest and special interests,

Please
remember that we must PAY an objective, licensed surveyor if we want our
results to hold any weight. 



The
survey cost could be as little as $3000.00 or more than $10,000 (depending on
how much we can afford to survey). The more we earn, the more we can do as far
as the number of points and area covered by the survey. We have found 2
licensed surveyors who can do the job at a discount. In the unlikelihood that
we earn more than is needed for the best-case survey, we can use the money to hire
a local, well-respected environmental lawyer to investigate how to proceed on
the county and state levels.
