FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE-July 31, 2009  Birdman Dave soars into Durham's
Stadium 10 Theater at Northgate Mall for a free 45 minute presentation
entitled "Amazon Rainforest" on Thursday, August 6, from 8:45 a.m. -
9:30 a.m.  Sponsored by Keep Durham Beautiful, this event for all ages
is free and open to the public.

 

A 25-year veteran avian educator, Birdman Dave has presented programs to
over 2 million people in libraries, museums and school settings by
providing opportunities for guests to experience live birds.  This
program will feature appreciation of the native Amazon lifestyle through
stories about animals and legends.  Learn how Amazon birds can teach
children about environmental awareness, ecology and endangered species
education. 

 

Birdman Dave's free live bird program concludes at 9:30am just before a
free screening of Madagascar 2, part of Stadium 10 at Northgate's 2009 Kids
Summer Movie Camp.

 

Northgate Mall is located at 1058 West Club Boulevard - I-85 Gregson
Street - Durham.
