City of Durham Inducts New Youth Commission Monday

Welcome Reception for 46 New Members Set for 5:45 p.m.

 

What:              City of Durham Induction Ceremony for 2009-2010
Durham Youth Commission

 

Who:               Durham City Council and the City's Office on Youth, a
division of the City Manager's Office

 

When:             Monday, August 17, 2009, at 7 p.m.

* Welcome reception for the new Durham Youth Commission members will be
held at 5:45 p.m. in the lobby of City Hall

Fast Facts:

*         Forty-six Durham youth who want a voice in their City
government will soon begin serving their one-year terms on the 2009-2010
Durham Youth Commission after Monday's Induction Ceremony.  

 

*         A welcome reception for the new members will occur at 5:45
p.m. in the lobby of City Hall.
