What:              First Birthday Celebration for the Durham Performing
Arts Center

Fast Facts:

*         The City of Durham is hosting a first birthday party for the
Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC).   Durham residents and the news
media are invited to attend.

 

*         Mayor William V. "Bill" Bell, along with DPAC General Manager
Bob Klaus and DPAC Oversight Committee Chair MaryAnn Black, will address
the audience from the DPAC's second floor lobby.

 

*         Parking is available for television crews in the loading zones
on the Magnum Street side of the DPAC.  Additional parking for attendees
is available at the North, South, and East Deck Parking Garages located
within the American Tobacco Historic District.

 

*         For on-site media assistance during Monday's celebration,
