    Bull City Summer Streets Coming Up This Sunday!








Sunday May 23


 2:00 – 6:00 pm








We're opening the streets as public boulevards for biking, walking and playing! Streets will be closed to automobile traffic for a one mile loop extending north from Durham Central Park, winding around the ballpark, heading west toward Liggett then circling back on Fernway.





 


Play catch at the DAP. Dance to local bands. Munch on treats  from the Triangle’s best food trucks.








Enjoy open streets, free Pilates demonstrations, aerobics classes and dance lessons.

One of the first such events in the southeast, Bull City Summer Streets follows a tradition of open streets events that began with Bogota, Colombia’s ‘ciclovia’, and now occurs regularly in NYC, San Francisco and St. Louis.
