[Durham INC] 3rd Friday at the CCB Plaza - Latin Concert

Start your weekend with great live music from Tropic Culture on Friday,
June 18, 2010 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on CCB Plaza in downtown Durham.
Tropic Culture is a funky, energetic, band that has connected with
audiences by taking on social issues with thought-provoking lyrics
through a sizzling combination of vocals, percussion, strings and horns.
Their varied ethnic musical background (Puerto Rican, Colombian,
Afro-American, Mexican, etc.)  and their love for Latin, jazz, rock,
reggae and soul music will make your feet dance and your heart smile!

 

Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR) will host a series of concerts from
now until October. All concerts will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
outdoors in the heart of downtown Durham at the CCB Plaza on 201 N.
Corcoran Street. The concerts will be held rain or shine. There is a
music style for everyone, and all concerts are free. Please see the
schedule below.
