Durham City-County Planning Dept. Closed Oct. 4

Department Closes for Staff Development Training

 

DURHAM, N.C. - The Durham City-County Planning Department will be closed
on Monday, October 4, 2010, for a day of staff development and community
service in support of the City of Durham's Culture of Service
Initiative. The department will reopen on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 8
a.m.

 

About the Durham City-County Planning Department

The Durham City-County Planning Department is involved in many aspects
of community growth, including reviewing development plans and
protecting Durham's natural and cultural resources. Planners meet
regularly with citizen groups to discuss specific issues and to talk
generally about Durham's future. The department is charged with
implementing Durham's Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development
Ordinance to direct future growth. To learn more, visit
