[Durham INC] National Day of Service - October 23

Durham Public Schools is sponsoring an event for Make a Difference Day:

October 23 is National Make a Difference Day and we need your help at Shepard Middle School, Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.  The DPS project will focus on literacy and community service.  You can help organize and pack books for the school's new media center, read with students or help maintenance workers spruce up the grounds.  While you work, your children can Skype with Duke University students studying abroad and participate in athletic activities with Duke and NCCU athletes.
