house where residents and business owners will be able to ask questions
about the draft ordinance text for the Ninth Street Design District.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend to better
understand the proposed regulations in order to provide input and
feedback on the draft regulations. This event will be held in an open
house format; therefore residents may come at any time during the event
to provide input.

* The draft text, based on the adopted Ninth Street Plan and the
community feedback received at the April and October public workshops,
is now available for review on the City's website at
www.durhamnc.gov/departments/planning/ninth_street_dd.cfm. The draft
text will be available online for review and comment from November 29
through December 20. After this review period, staff will incorporate
community feedback into the draft prior to scheduling the text amendment
for public hearing before the Durham Planning Commission.
