[Durham INC] State of the State address

Since we've been talking about funding, budgets, and waste, tomorrow at
7PM our Governor will tell us just how bad off the future looks when it
comes to spending. Good news is that it's a billion dollars further along
than they thought. So it's just bad, not real bad... Her budget it
scheduled to be released next week, so I guess this will be a preview.
Since it's a trickle down of money that happens from State to City, we'll
see just how bad it hurts us locally.

But at the top, the President says his budget will cut several programs
and spending in others. and increase spending in high speed rail. he may
be talking about the North/South high speed system that is already
underway here on the right coast. The left coast (especially California)
is pushing to do theirs as well.
