[Durham INC] Durham Drivers are the Worst

I've posted photographs on my blog (link above) of an accident that happened in Cleveland-Holloway this early evening. A driver had been tearing around the neighborhood doing laps probably 20 to 30 mph over the 25mph speed limit. Neighbors had begun to call the cops at this all too frequent occurrence, but then it was all over as the truck slammed on the brakes, bounced off a telephone poll, into the tree, and into a fence post (which was luckily sunk deep into the ground). If the truck hadn't hit that fence post, it would have ended up on my fron porch. And I don't want to even think what would have happened if there were kids playing at the basketball hoop right next to where this driver crashed. 

As a neighborhood we had recently reached out to the city to ask about speed bumps, but were turned away because of a lack of funds. Then we were supposed to have traffic monitoring devices put down for a month to study our issues, but they were taken up in less than a week for some unknown reason. The driver involved in this accident had already been reported to police the previous week for reckless driving, and when the police picked him up today they found he was driving with an expired license.

I would like to see the INC ask the DPD to start enforcement of traffic violations. Is this something we could do?
