This email provides a quick update on local government actions on the Durham and Orange County Bus and Rail Investment Plans.  The Alternatives Analysis for rail transit (which is a separate process) will be addressed in late summer and early fall of this year, and the MPO will forward information on that process as it approaches. Online SurveyIf you haven’t already completed the online survey on the Bus and Rail Investment Plan, you can do so at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Transit-Plan WorkshopsDurham-Chapel Hill Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) recently held five public workshops in Durham and Orange counties to gather public information on the Bus and Rail Investment Plans.  If you were unable to participate in one of the workshops, you can provide comments by completing the online survey shown above or by going to the following Web site (comments will be received through June 21st): www.dchpmpo.org DCHC MPOThe board for the Durham-Chapel Hill Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) will discuss the Plans at their meeting on June 22nd.  The board, called the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC), could approve one or both plans at this meeting.
