Subject: [mgvdurham-mg] Cool Season Vegetables - Presentation
Hello All,
Due to popular demand we will be offering the presentation “Cool Season Vegetables – Extending Your Garden” again on Monday, September 19, from 10am -12pm at the Durham County Extension Center located at 721 Foster Street in Durham. Our own Durham County Extension Master Gardener, Faye McNaull, will be giving the talk. Please let everyone you know who might be interested about this opportunity.
This presentation was originally given on August 21, to a standing room only crowd at Sarah P. Duke Gardens (64). The room was at capacity and there was even one individual who watched through the glass for 45 minutes. Several individuals had to be turned away because their simply was not enough space.
It is not too late to start a veggie garden this fall using transplants and season extension methods. This talk is free, please let us know if you are coming by contacting prjones at durhamcountync.gov or call 919-560-0525.
