I'm at a loss as to how anyone could either read that as a threat or assume that i am a member of the homosexual community.

I agree that this is a sad day, but i have my doubts that you understand why that is the case.

As the saying goes, you're entitled to your beliefs, but you aren't entitled to your facts. This is simply and factually incorrect. Since you claim to be an educator, i strongly urge you to continue your own education on this topic before you do irreparable damage to your reputation as an educator.
