Subject: Dancing at the Museum - Saturday!

There will be a special opportunity for dancing at theMuseum
of Life and Science inDurham, thisSaturday, November
12.  The museum is having its "Fall Harvest"
festival, which sounds awfully cool by itself, especially for folks of
the younger persuasion.  (See
http://www.ncmls.org/visit/events/fall-harvest.)  Triangle
Country Dancers will present a participatory contra dance demo (Sounds
a lot like a community dance to me!) from11:00 AM to 12:30
PM.

Weather permitting, the dancing will be in front of the butterfly
house; otherwise, it will be in the covered picnic pavilion.
You're likely familiar with the performers: Ruth Pershing will call,
and Ted Ehrhard and Dean Herington will play.

Museum admission isfree to dancers (and accompanying
family members),but you must RSVP ahead of time to Ingrid
Moffe at imoffie at nc.rr.com or
919-942-0908 or 919-906-8986.  Ingrid suggests you consider
bringing a picnic lunch.  We all hope to see you there!
