The Durham Farmers’ Market's PRE-THANKSGIVING Market is TODAY from 2-5pm!

Over 25 vendors will be at Market with your holiday shopping
needs, including:
Fresh Vegetables – Sweet Potatoes, Kale, Collards, Carrots, Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflowers,
Radishes, Beets, Lettuce, Green Beans and lots more
Cheeses – Fresh
and Aged Cows Milk and Goats Milk Cheeses
Meats – Chicken,
Pork, Bison, Beef, Goat, Lamb.  There will be the usual cuts as well as specialty items like salami,
sweet potato and liver pate, and jerky.
Eggs
Honey
Baked Goods –
Pies, Breads and Pastries
Crafts and Gifts including – Goats milk soap, Wooden Cutting Boards and Gourd Bird Houses
Wine & Beer
Pickles and Preserves
Flowers – a few
anemones!
Landscaping and House Plants

 
Cookbook author, Sheri Castle, will be sampling recipes from
her most recent cookbook The New Southern Garden Cookbook starting at 2pm.
 
And you can enter a drawing for a gift basket filled with a
variety of local goodies.  Enter
the drawing at the info table!
 
The Durham Farmers’ Market is located at 501 Foster Street
in the Pavilion at Durham Central Park.  The Market is an all local, producer only Market.  All items found at the Market are grown
or produced by the vendor and come from within 70 miles of Durham.
 
The Durham Farmers’ Market is open on Saturdays year round
and the on Saturday December 3rd, our winter hours of 10am to Noon
begin.  Market will be closed this
Saturday, November 26th, but open every Saturday during the winter
