[Durham INC] Planning Department Items from Last Night's Meeting

Questions came up at last night's meeting about a couple of Planning Department initiatives.

1) Ninth Street Plan
The department's staff will make a presentation
on the proposed design standards at the City Council's December 8 work session. The public hearing and adoption will occur at the Council's January 20 meeting.

2) Comprehensive Plan
The Joint City-County Planning Committee will continue to receive its monthly updates. The two elected boards will receive the final plan revisions for adoption in March or April of 2012, preceded by the Planning Commission hearing at its February meeting.

Hope this helps clear up questions about the timing of these projects.
