The Durham Farmers’ Market will be OPEN this Saturday,
December 24th, Christmas Eve, from 10am-Noon!  We will have lots of ingredients for
your holiday meals and plenty of last minute holiday gifts!
 
Here’s a short list of what will be available at Market this
Saturday:
Produce: Collards, Kale, Carrots, Turnips, Beets, Radishes, Lettuce, Arugula, Spinach,
Broccoli, Cauliflower, Sweet Potatoes, Cabbage, Asian Greens, Creasy Greens
(Cress), Green Onions, Rhubarb and more
Meats – Chicken,
Goat (Chevon), Lamb, Beef, Pork – including hams.  Look for standard cuts, sausages, ground, and specialty
items including hot dogs, salami and lard.
Cheeses – Fresh
& Aged Cow’s and Goat’s milk cheeses
Eggs
Honey
Prepared Foods – Pasta,
Baked Goods including, Pies, Breads, Cookies, Pastries, including some gluten
free items! 
Crafts – Beeswax
Candles, Gourd Birdhouses, Photos & Photo greeting cards, Goats Milk Soaps,
lotions and body products, Pottery, Jewelry, Knitted Items, Hand-dyed clothes
& scarves and more!
Wine & Beer
Pickles and Preserves
 
If you would like to give the gift of fresh, local food and
crafts this season, Durham Farmers’ Market gift certificates are available at
the Market Info table.
 
The Market will also be open next Saturday, Dec. 31st,
New Years Eve from 10 to Noon and every Saturday this winter – rain, snow,
sleet or shine!
 
The Durham Farmers’ Market is located at 501 Foster Street
in the Pavilion at Durham Central Park.  The Market is an all local, producer only Market.  All items found at the Market are grown
or produced by the vendor and come from within 70 miles of Durham.
