[Durham INC] Help prevent enabling Billboard takeover of Durham (and NC) streets: By Dec 23

The state is trying to hinder/override NC counties/municipalities' ability to regulate environmental and aesthetic damage by the billboard industry. Durham has fought (for decades) the lining of our highways and streets with billboards, and our roads continue to be aesthetically pleasing (and to provide vegetation to help control runoff and pollution into our waterways). 

Please take a moment to view the following website and to write DOT (very easy via a link at the second website) with your concerns in this regard. 

And please ask others to do so.

You must comment on DOT's tree cutting rules by December 23rd.
