Durham County Library Hosts Discussion: The State of Tar Heel Politics

Program:        The State of Tar Heel Politics

About: North Carolina has become one of the most politically competitive states in the South. In a timely program during this heated political season, Durham County Library will host author Rob Christensen as he discusses his book, The Paradox of Tar Heel Politics: The Personalities, Elections and Events that Shaped Modern North Carolina.
The North Carolina Review says Christensen's book "presents the pivotal figures and elections of North Carolina's twentieth-century politics in an entertaining and insightful fashion."
This event takes place on Sunday, January 29 at 3 p.m. at the Southwest Regional Library, 3605 Shannon Road. For more information about the program, call 560-8590.
