Durham JobLink Hosts Personal Well-Being Workshops for Job Seekers

Free Workshop Series to Assist Job Seekers with Balancing Personal
Well-Being with Job Searching

 

What:              Open Innovation Toward Employment Workshop Series

 

Who:               Durham JobLink Career Center at Northgate Mall and
the City of Durham's Office of Economic and Workforce Development

 

When:             Wednesday, March 7, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, April 4, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

*         The Open Innovation Toward Employment Workshop Series will
assist Durham job seekers with developing and maintaining a healthy body
and mind as they transition upward and onward to their next career
destination.

 

*         Featured sessions during this three-part workshop series
include:

*	How to Stay Calm and Manage Stress During Your Career Transition
*	Eating Healthy on a Tight Budget   
*	Hartha Yoga and Meditation for the Job Seeker     

 

*         Seating is limited for this free workshop series, therefore
job seekers must register one week in advance of each workshop to Mary
M. Parker at (919) 354-2748 or via email at mary.m.parker at ncesc.gov.

 

About the Office of Economic and Workforce Development

The City of Durham's Office of Economic and Workforce Development seeks
to increase the city's tax base through several revitalization
initiatives, including new development efforts in the central city area.
