27 Views of Chapel Hill: A Southern University Town in Prose and Poetry
Program: Meet the Authors - 27 Views of Chapel Hill: A Southern University Town in Prose and Poetry

About: Durham County Library will host authors of the new book, 27 Views of Chapel Hill: A Southern University Town in Prose and Poetry on Sunday, March 4 at 3 p.m. at Southwest Regional Library, 3605 Shannon Road. Authors Erica Eisdorfer, Paul Cuadros, Karen Parker and Elizabeth Woodman will read from the literary collection of essays, short stories and poetry. A book signing will follow. For more information about the program, call 560-8590.
Erica Eisdorfer is the author of The Wet Nurse's Tale. She is the longtime manager of the Bull's Head Bookshop at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Paul Cuadros is an award-winning investigative reporter and an assistant professor at the School of Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His work appears in many publications, including Time Magazine and the Chapel Hill News. He is the author of A Home on the Field: How One Championship Soccer Team Inspires Hope for the Revival of Small Town America.
Karen L. Parker is a newspaper copy editor who recently retired from the Winston-Salem Journal. Since her graduation from the University of North Carolina's School of Journalism in 1965, she has worked for several newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times.
Eno Publisher's executive director is Elizabeth Woodman, an editor with 30 years of experience, and the co-founder of North Carolina-based Ventana Press, an award-winning publisher that was acquired by International Thomson.
