DURHAM, NC - Common Ground Theatre ( <http://www.cgtheatre.com>
www.cgtheatre.com) is a performance and teaching space located in west
Durham, offering performing arts and educational groups a flexible,
well-equipped alternative space.  The Theatre provides a convenient venue
for Triangle audiences to experience the diversity of our area's arts and
educational offerings. All events listed will be held at Common Ground
Theatre. The Theatre is hosting the following events in April, 2012:

Escritor y Productor Alex Cordova

Una obra inspirada en la Maravillosa epoca del Cabaret, con las invitadas
especiales. Daniela Romo, Veronica Castro, Tona La Negra, Chelo Silva y la
Guera Yury, transmitida  a travez de la cadena de TV LGBT Canal 12... y un
ramillete de Canciones en la Voz de La Dama de la Cancion Yovanka tales como
Besame Mucho, Odiame y muchas mas...

Transactors Improv Co. is proud to present The Professors - a new serial set
at the Private University of North Carolina State (PUNCS). Watch the sparks
between teachers and students, faculty and staff, town and gown - all made
up on the spot based on audience suggestions. And get in on the action as
the professors take questions during their lectures.

Ghost & Spice Productions Presents: A Taste of Honey by Shelagh Delaney

Passionate, Heart-wrenching, Dangerous. It tells the story of a
seventeen-year-old working class girl and her alcoholic mother, trapped in
poverty, deprived of ambition and vulnerable to manipulation. A Taste of
Honey was part of the late '50's, early '60's genre revolutionizing British
Theatre known as "Kitchen Sink" Theatre.

 

The cast of A Taste of Honey features company member Jennifer Evans with
guest artists J Evarts, Loren Armitage, J. Hampton Rowe & Kashif Powell.
Video images created by Meredith Sause. Company member Jeffrey Alguire
directs.

April 20 & 21, 26, 27, 28, May 3, 4, 5 at 8:00 p.m.

April 29 at 2:00 p.m.
