"The 751 South project’s would-be developers notified county elections officials on Friday that they’ve formed a political action committee, called the Durham Partnership for Progress.
Their campaign-finance report showed they’d also stocked the committee with $2,600 in seed money from the corporate coffers of Southern Durham Development Inc., the shell corporation they’ve set up to spearhead work on 751 South.

The committee has already spent $2,500 of that money, paying a Raleigh firm, Public Policy Polling, for a telephone survey earlier this month... "
