See link below: Indy on 751 SuperPAC. And please inform all you know about the attempts of the Southern Durham Development team to buy our county commissioners election.

Southern Durham Development has donated $50,000 to their Durham Partners for Progress Super PAC.

Whether or not you agree with the 751 development project, there is clearly a conflict of interest with these Chatham and Wake County developers (they don't even live in Durham!) using corporate funds, which are beyond the means of any lay-citizen group, to elect Durham county commissioner candidates who unquestionably support their projects and, therefore, their private financial gains.

I've also included the latest financial report for the SDD SuperPAC. Note that the company they hired for the mailings (which cost over $50,000) is Raleigh based. Not a good show of their supposed intent to provide jobs to Durham citizens.

Don't Let these non-Durham development interests buy your vote.

Before voting for any candidate, please check out his/her webpage and the true and historical Durham-citizen PACs' questionnaires (all available on line) and especially the voting records of those running for the Board of County Commissioners.

More in print on Wednesday:

Here's the link to the actual SUPERPAC financial report, showing their support for only candidates who have publicly declared their unequivocal commitment to Southern Durham Development's 751 South development:

Thanks for caring and thanks for voting!
