Durham Offers Bonding and Insurance Workshop June 28

Free Series Designed to Support Small Business Growth

 

What:              "Surety 101: Bonding and Insurance for New and
Emerging Contractors" - Seminar #6 in a Workshop Series for Small
Businesses

Fast Facts:

*         Conducted by Adam B. Pfanmiller, account executive with
Travelers Insurance Company, this free training is designed to explain
bonding versus insurance, the bonding process, and prequalification
requirements. The different types of bonds and insurance and their costs
will also be discussed, including general liability and workers
compensation. Information on identifying a service provider will also be
provided.  

 

*         This workshop is part of a seminar series that was developed
by the City's Equal Opportunity and Equity Assurance Department to
provide technical assistance services to local, small businesses for
this fiscal year. These free workshops are open to all interested small
business owners and entrepreneurs.
