Hello bicycle riders and enthusiasts,

This is a reminder that New Belgium Brewery is hosting the 2012 Tour de Fat
in Durham THIS Saturday, June 23, from 10am-4pm on the lawn at DPAC!
Tour de Fat is a festival of bicycling-based revelry that includes a 5-mile
costumed bicycle parade from 10-11am followed by a carnival-type event from
11am-4pm filled with music, stunts and games and activities, local food,
New Belgian (brewer of Fat Tire) beer, and much more. There is also a
"trade your
car for a bicycle" contest, and applications are still being accepted. Tour
de Fat is free to attend, family friendly, and bikers and non-bikers are
all invited.
This event is a fundraiser, and proceeds from beer and merchandise sales go
to local active transportation non-profits.
