[Durham INC] Ending the cycle of poverty transportation

First of all, I completely agree with everything Carl wrote in his piece,
and I think the people that have responded to what he has said are not
opening up their hearts and minds to what he wrote.

I'm getting a little frustrated with the tone of conversation on the INC
list serve, and I expect more of this group. Carl is reporting on his
experience and the experiences of others he has witnessed. This is valid.
We should digest it. We should understand how someone might be made to feel
that way, and what we (as a community) can do to help.

Telling someone they shouldn't feel that way doesn't change anything. And
the responses I am hearing only further polarize the. To quote the ice cold
lyricist, we need to "stop. collaborate, and listen." Let's open our
hearts, and hold our tongues.

Thanks,
Matt
